- Customer concern: Check Engine light. Heat issue. Oil leaks ?
- Scan computer for trouble codes and 1 found. P0137 Down stream fuel trim lean. Further testing indicate both down stream oxygen sensor are failing and need replaced.
- Replaced leaking oil filter housing/ oil cooler assembly.
- Replaced leaking valve cover gaskets.
- Replaced thermostat assembly, for possible heat issue. This would be the first place to start due to heat is working as it should at this moment.
- Replaced both failing down stream oxygen sensors. Clear trouble codes and test drove. Engine light did not return.
- Change engine oil & filter Lubricate Chassis as needed Check & top off fluid levels Test coolant freeze protection ( – F) Check & adjust tire pressure ( psi) Reset oil change light(if applicable)
